Gangbanger wanted in alleged cop threats turns self in

Cops on Friday finally picked up the gang member who skipped a court date after he was let out without bail following alleged NYPD death threats, sources said.

Devon Coley

Devon Coley, 18, turned himself in at Brooklyn Criminal Court at around 11:30 a.m. and was sentenced to 10 days in jail for violating a warrant for his arrest.

Coley had been the subject of an arrest warrant for four days after failing to show up to a scheduled appearance in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Monday. He was supposed to prove he’d successfully completed three days of community service for possessing a stolen Citi Bike last July, sources said.

Coley’s more recent arrest came hours after the assassination of two NYPD cops — on charges he posted a frightening photo on Facebook depicting a gunman firing into an NYPD squad car.

The next day, Judge Laura Johnson let him go without bail.
