Fusion’s ‘AM Tonight’ expanded to one hour

Fusion’s “AM Tonight,” the daily prime-time show hosted by Alicia Menendez, will be expanded to an hour in January.

Fusion has also hired Kim Gamble (MTV’s “Nikki and Sara Live”) to be the show’s executive producer.
“AM Tonight,” which premiered in October 2013 on Fusion — which is co-owned by Univision and ABC — currently airs weeknights from 9 to 9:30.

“Alicia has given her generation a distinct, new voice and we are expanding her show because of the incredible success she has shown and the promise that she holds,” Fusion CEO Isaac Lee wrote in a memo to staffers.
