The first trailer for “Pitch Perfect 2” hit the Web on Thursday, and the Barden Bellas are back for an encore. Starring Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson, the sequel to the 2012 smash film is raising the stakes and hitting even higher notes.
Centering on Beca’s (Kendrick) senior year of college, the feisty brunette and her gal pals, including the hilarious Fat Amy (Wilson), are ready for world domination — at least on the a cappella circuit. And while taking the global crown may not be as easy this time around, the Bellas have a new addition to their crew in the form of Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld.
Directed by “Pitch Perfect’s” own Elizabeth Banks, the musical sass-fest is set to hit theaters May 15, 2015.
