Braves get rid of entire Wren family

The family that stays together … gets whacked by the Atlanta Braves.

In September, Frank Wren was relieved of his duties as GM of the under-performing 79-win Braves. His brother, Jeff Wren, was another casualty, losing his job as a scout and special assistant.

And on Friday, they cleaned the house entirely, trading Kyle Wren, Frank’s son, to the Brewers in an otherwise inconsequential minor league swap for right-hander Zach Quintana.

Kyle Wren, 23, was drafted by his pops in the eighth round in 2013 out of Georgia Tech. In one and a half seasons in the bushes, he’s hit .304 with 81 stolen bases.
