Madison Square Garden’s outside to light up with team colors

Madison Square Garden is getting the Empire State Building treatment — with a flashy new color-changing outdoor lighting system.

The buzz-worthy LED lighting will be changeable to align with arena events.

For example, on Sunday it will boast bright blue and red (right) for the NHL Rangers’ game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday.

“Our lights are on and the Rangers are home. Come join us to celebrate,” said MSG Sports Executive Vice President Joel Fisher,

The arena will a flash blue and orange lights for NBA Knicks games and seafoam green for the WNBA’s New York Liberty.

The bright idea comes along with a multimillion-dollar indoor renovation.
