Party photog Patrick McMullan has been snapping up a storm this Fashion Week, capturing candids and behind-the-scene shots for an upcoming fall exhibition at Hearst Tower called “The Face of Fashion.”
McMullan, who is as big of a party fixture as his glamorous subjects, said one of his most memorable moments thus far was at Friday’s Harper’s Bazaar Icons bash at the Plaza.
“Mr. Lucky of the evening was Harper’s Bazaar Creative Director, Stephen Gan, who got a tandem kiss from Lady Gaga and Brooke Shields,” dished McMullan. “I mean, who wouldn’t want to trade places with Gan and get smooched by these gorgeous gals? An iconic magazine held an iconic party at an iconic hotel in an iconic city with Lady Gaga singing jazz — it doesn’t get much better than that!”
