Well, New Yorkers survived yet another disaster Wednesday night — that cheesy TV production called “Sharknado 2: The Second One.”
The sequel to “Sharknado” — last summer’s most-buzzed-about TV movie — didn’t quite equal that flick’s impact in terms of social media buzz, when celebs including Mia Farrow were tweeting about it. But it still stirred up some Twitter activity.
And even if it turns out not to be a ratings bonanza, the flick — in which Ian Ziering saves New York City from a storm of killer sharks — still has a lot of people talking about it and its co-stars, which include Tara Reid and cameos from Kelly Osbourne, Vivica A. Fox, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Judd Hirsch, Mark McGrath and even Robert Klein.
