YOU’RE GROUNDED! Get your grub and groove on at the Southern Ground Music and Food Festival in Nashville on Sept. 27 and 28. The two-day fest, created by the Zac Brown Band, features performances by Willie Nelson, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and more, plus nightly “super sets” from the Zac Brown Band, with sit-in performances from the likes of John Fogerty and Jason Mraz. As for food, expect concessions from Stephanie Izard (of Chicago’s Girl & the Goat), Rusty Hamlin (executive chef of the Zac Brown Band), plus a preview of RJ Cooper’s new Washington D.C. restaurant project, Gypsy Soul. “Foodie” ticketholders will experience Q&As and meet-and-greets, as well as access to the “Foodie Tent,” featuring “an exclusive, covered lounge with elevated views of the main stage,” as well as a “gourmet dinner buffet” and full bar. SOMETHING ‘WICKED’ THIS WAY COMES It’s the season of the witch in Boston. Beginning Saturday, the “Oz-inspired” Emerald Lounge at Revere Hotel is celebrating the return of the musical “Wicked” to the Boston Opera House with a limited-time “Wicked” brunch and cocktail menu. Expect “whimsical, themed entrees, cocktails, validated parking and an Ozsome ambience.” Offerings for brunch include Dr. Dillamond’s Eggs or Lobster Baaahnedict ($15 and $19); the cocktail menu features Jeweled Shoes (Bombay Sapphire East, Campari, Citronge, fresh orange juice, simple syrup and a ruby red grapefruit wedge) and Glinda’s New Project (St-Germain, blue Curacao, orange juice, Brut Champagne, lemon zest), $12 each.
