2 critical with burns after Bronx blaze, FDNY searching for cause

Two people are fighting for their lives after a fire swept through a Bronx house this morning, authorities said.

The blaze broke out about 10:45 a.m. in the 2-story home on East 219th Street in the Williamsbridge section, the FDNY said.

The victims were pulled from the building badly burned and rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition, the FDNY said.

The fire was place under control at 11:10 a.m. and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
