President Obama leads Mitt Romney by 9 percentage points in Pennsylvania, according to a new Philadelphia Inquirer telephone poll of 601 likely voters.
Obama leads by 51-42 percent in the Keystone State, which could give him 20 of the 270 electoral votes he needs for re-election.
In 2008 he beat John McCain by 55-44 percent in Pennsylvania, which has gone Democratic in five consecutive presidential elections.
