A woman’s unsolicited attempt to turn a gay man straight went horribly wrong when she was arrested for molesting him and stabbing him with a knife in his Midwood home, law-enforcement sources said.

Cynthia Olivei, 52, knocked on the 56-year-old man’s front door on East 14th Street Tuesday at 3:25 p.m., shoved her way in and, according to sources, announced, “I’m going to rock you tonight. I know you’re gay.”

But after she proceeded to grab his genitals, he managed to push the door back open and tried to toss her out, sources added.

That’s when she produced the knife. His wounds required 36 stitches to close at a local hospital, the sources added.

The woman was arrested and charged with assault, menacing, harassment, forcible touching, trespass and weapon possession.
