Eli Manning, Jeremy Lin and Joe Torre will all be on the same team this summer.
Those three New York luminaries will join the likes of Rays third baseman Evan Longoria, Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins and soccer legend David Beckham to team up with the White House to produce a new public service announcement against dating violence. President Barack Obama and Joe Biden, the vice president, will also appear in the ads.
The commercial will air this summer on MLB Network, ESPN networks and Fox Sports cable networks, among others.
Manning is coming off winning his second Super Bowl as quarterback of the Giants, Jeremy Lin was a national phenomenon this winter as the Knicks point guard before getting injured and Joe Torre won four World Series titles managing the Yankees.
