Omelette there be brunch!

They kept their promise to fight for the right to eat sidewalk eggs Benedict on Sunday morning.

Council members Dan Garodnick of Manhattan and Steve Levin and Diana Reyna of Brooklyn introduced a bill yesterday to allow sidewalk cafes to open at 10 a.m. — two hours earlier — on Sundays.

Restaurants are currently prohibited from opening their sidewalk cafes before noon on Sundays, despite being able to open in the morning the rest of the week.

“New Yorkers will not be denied their Sunday brunch in the beautiful weather,” said Garodnick.
