Subway rat haunts victim

The subway rat’s reign of terror isn’t over.

The woman scratched by the nasty rodent during a hell ride from Harlem to Midtown said that memories of the vermin crawling up her leg are keeping her up at night.

“I’m still nervous about it,” said Ana Vargas, 40, of Yonkers. “I had to take pills to get to sleep last night because of what happened.”

Vargas was listening to her iPod between 125th Street and Columbia Circle on Thursday when she felt a scratch on her leg at about 8 a.m.

She had to pull down her pants to escape the menace — and now she’s afraid to get back on a subway train.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do to get to work, but I don’t want to get on the train,” the hotel worker confessed.
