2 more held in ‘bomb threats’

CHICAGO — Prosecutors charged two more activists yesterday with crimes tied to the two-day NATO summit, accusing one of saying he wanted to blow up a Chicago bridge and a second with seeking to build pipe bombs.

But defense lawyers said the charges were manufactured by police informants.

Meanwhile, about 45 protesters were arrested during a demonstration in downtown Chicago yesterday.

Four cops were injured during a nearly two-hour standoff with the protesters.
