Jets interested in former Dolphins safety Bell: agent

The Jets are one of three teams interested in Dolphins free agent strong safety Yeremiah Bell, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

In an interview on a Miami TV station, Rosenhaus listed the Jets, Patriots and Eagles as possible landing spots for the eight-year veteran, while eliminating a return to the Dolphins as a possibility. Bell has had over 100 tackles each of the past four seasons.

The Jets already signed another free agent strong safety this offseason, when they added LaRon Landry with a one-year, $3.5 million deal. But Landry does have health questions, and he opted not to have surgery on his oft-injured Achilles in the offseason.
