Wage-bill break at Hudson Yards

One of Mayor Bloomberg’s pet projects — the redevelopment of Hudson Yards — would be exempt from the controversial living-wage proposal under a tentative new agreement, The Post learned last night.

It remains unclear if the mayor will now support the bill, which is awaiting passage by the City Council. The living-wage bill would require developers who receive at least $1 million or more in city subsidies to pay their workers $10 an hour plus benefits, or $11.50 without benefits. The minimum wage is now $7.25.
