Knicks starting lineup gets changed up

SAN ANTONIO — Mike D’Antoni is shaking up the Knicks’ starting lineup, a bit for poor play and a bit because of injury.

Rookie Iman Shumpert has replaced the slumping Landry Fields as the starting two guard and was set to be with the first five vs. the Spurs later tonight.

Another rookie, Josh Harrellson also is starting tonight, but only because center Tyson Chandler was unavailable because of a hamstring strain.

Chandler said he could miss the Milwaukee game Friday also. “I’d rather be out there, but I’d rather not be out three, four weeks and play it smart and listen to what (the doctors) have to say,’ Chandler said.

The Knicks also said that reserve forward Jared Jeffries is out at least the next two games because of a knee injury.

The struggling Knicks and Spurs tip off at 8:30.
