DAMASCUS, Syria — The body of Long Island native Marie Colvin and another Western journalist killed in Syria was transported to Paris yesterday.
The bodies were sent from Damascus to Paris via Jordan.
Colvin, was expected to be flown to the United States tomorrow or Tuesday, according to a representative of her newspaper, The Sunday Times of London.
Colvin and her French colleague Remi Ochlik were killed in a rocket attack in Homs on Feb. 22.
