“Shameless” actress Emmy Rossum says it can be awkward when fans identify with her dysfunctional TV family. “People will walk up to me and say, ‘Frank Gallagher [the show’s alcoholic patriarch] is just like my dad,’ ” she tells Buzz at Diesel’s presentation on Tuesday. “That’s pretty scary.” But Rossum understands: “We’re in people’s living rooms week to week,” she says. “People have a much closer connection to what’s on television than film because it’s in your home.” Also in attendance at Diesel were Amber LeBon and Mia and Chelsea Tyler — bonus points to Buzz readers who can name their rock-singing dads.

On the eve of spring training, where boyfriend Derek Jeter is modeling pinstripes, Minka Kelly showed off a bright orange Oscar de la Renta frock at the designer’s show on Tuesday. “Oh, I am a huge fan!” she tells Buzz, referring to de la Renta, of course. Hot as the dress was, it’s not even her fave de la Renta. “I wore this green dress to the Art of Elysium [charity fund-raiser],” Kelly says. “[It’s] one of my favorite dresses I’ve ever worn.” Being Valentine’s Day, we asked Kelly if she and The Captain had any plans, but her cutoff man, uh, handler, stepped in to say, “We’re only here to talk about fashion.”
DON’T WANNA GROW UP
So what does model, Internet star, hipster fashionsita Cory Kennedy list as “occupation” on her taxes? She doesn’t know. That’s her mom’s department. “She does them,” the 21-year-old New Yorker admits at Jeremy Scott’s Milk Studios show yesterday. “I don’t even have a bank account here.” Kennedy, who grew up in LA, doesn’t have a résumé either, though she does have a portfolio. Somewhere. “I had a [look] book of all my shoots and covers, but it’s floating around Paris somewhere. I’m so ADD.” Kennedy plans on looking grown-up at tonight’s Tommy Hilfiger party, featuring Cobra Starship. “I’m going to look really clean-cut. And I’ll have a clutch so I can put my fake résumés in there,” she laughs.
A KHAN JOB
After he attended his first New York Fashion Week runway show Tuesday, Matt Damon also hit designer pal Naeem Khan’s after-party. Following a Valentine’s Day dinner at Village restaurant Palma with his wife, Luciana Barroso, and a group including Padma Lakshmi and designer Khan, Damon and the gang headed to Double Seven cocktail lounge. One witness marvelled about Damon being a regular guy who wore a leather jacket and nursed a Stella. Damon and his wife recently vacationed in St. Barts with Khan and his wife, as well.
SITUATION CLAIRE-IFIED
It only felt like the end of the world when a crush of fashionistas pushed their way into Gramercy Park Hotel’s Rose Bar for an invite-only show by the Rapture Tuesday night. One reason for the mob was that some people were heading through the wrong entrance to the after-party for Narcisco Rodriguez’s show, which the hotel was also hosting. Luckily, “Homeland” star Claire Danes was there for crowd control. “Narcisco’s party is in the penthouse!” exclaimed Danes before leading the Rodriguez gang to their rooftop destination.
