From a design perspective Nautica never strays too far from the shore, but as common sense suggests, consistency is paramount to creativity in brand-building. To that measure, the men’s presentation — held, befittingly, at an oyster bar — was everything it needed to be: casual, masculine and wearable.
A heavy emphasis on outerwear saw coats and jackets in many covetable varieties. There were toggles, sailing vests, utility jackets, pea coats and parkas in nice pop colors — perfect staples in any prepster’s wardrobe or for any Labor Day trips to Nantucket.
