Crash cop ‘DWI’

The allegedly DWI cop who smashed his car in The Bronx — leaving a fellow officer in a coma — admitted he drank before getting behind the wheel, according to court papers.

“I had a few drinks,” Officer Rafael Casiano allegedly said.

Casiano was charged with vehicular assault and DWI after crashing on the Cross Bronx Expressway early Friday, cops said.

He blew a .032 and a .029 on Breathalyzer tests about nine hours after his arrest, according to the court papers.

Yesterday, NYPD spokesman Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said there was a delay in the notification of the Internal Affairs Bureau of the incident and that delay is under investigation.

Meanwhile, a second boozed-up Bronx cop, Kleaburgh Carvajal, 35, was charged yesterday with DWI, cops said.
