PSAL boys basketball roundup: Bedford gains revenge against Brooklyn Tech

Darien Best scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Bedford Academy topped Brooklyn Tech, 70-64, to exact revenge from an earlier loss in Brooklyn A East boys basketball Wednesday afternoon.

Sean Snagg added 19 points and Ellis Everett had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Panthers (11-2, 8-2). Brooklyn Tech is now 5-4 in the division.

Richard Green 73, Washington Irving 69: Antonio Dabrio had 27 points and 15 rebounds, eight of them offensive, Arjee Atwell totaled 16 points and Kenneth Johnson had 13 points and four assists for Richard Green (2-6) in Manhattan A East. Irving is 2-7 in Manhattan A Southwest.

Hunter College HS 61, Murry Bergtraum 52: Sam Gordon had 29 points and 14 rebounds and Kadeem Nibbs added nine points, 12 rebounds and four assists for Hunter College (7-1) in Manhattan A East. Bergtraum is 6-1 in Manhattan A Southwest.

Martin Luther King Jr. 71, Brandeis 53: John Otero scored 16 points, Kimba Johnson had 13 points and eight assists and Caldon Baptiste had 10 for MLK in Manhattan A Northwest. Brandeis is 0-8.

Queens HS of Teaching 71, Aviation 46: Brandon Hughes sank four 3-pointers and scored 26 points, Isaiah Hayes had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Denzel Thomas had 14 points and 14 rebounds for QHST (4-2) in Queens A West. Aviation is 0-7.

John Adams 77, Richmond Hill 49: Ahmed Kone had 21 points and seven rebounds, Justin Cotto followed with 19 points and 16 rebounds and Markell French had 13 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds for Adams (5-2) in Queens A East. Richmond Hill is 2-5.
