Publishers shuffled at Condé

It was musical chairs at two of Condé Nast’s magazines yesterday as new publishers were tapped at Teen Vogue and Details.

Jason Wagenheim, who last week was booted as publisher of Condé’s second most profitable magazine, Glamour — less than three months after arriving from Entertainment Weekly — was named new publisher of Teen Vogue.

Kevin Martinez, most recently a Condé Nast consultant but earlier this year a refugee from the Hearst/Hachette merger, was tapped to be the new publisher of Details.

Martinez had ben publisher of Elle before the Hearst takeover.

Teen Vogue has seen ad pages rise 2.74 percent on the year under Sabine Feldmann, who is temporarily out of a job — but will remain with the company.

Details, which has been without a publisher since Paul Jowdy left six months ago, was off 9 percent in advertising pages so far in 2011.
