Man held after allegedly rushing for plane exit, biting flight crew member

SEATTLE — A man was in police custody Monday after allegedly becoming disruptive and biting a crew member as a flight landed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, KTVB-TV reported.

The man, who was not identified, reportedly rushed for the plane’s exit as soon as the Alaska Airlines flight from Anchorage to Seattle stopped taxiing at the airport.

The flight’s crew and passengers subdued the man. One crew member was bitten on the arm during the struggle.

The suspect and the crew member who was bitten were both evaluated at a local hospital.

The suspect will reportedly be arrested on felony assault charges.
