3 weekend sex attacks jolt Inwood & Wash. Hts.

Three women have been sexually attacked in separate incidents in Washington Heights and Inwood since Friday, police said yesterday.

The first two attacks — which took place within six hours of each other — appear to have been committed by different men, sources said.

It was unclear if the third assault, which occurred a block from the NYPD’s 34th Precinct station house, was the work of one of those fiends, the sources said.

In the first assault, a man targeted a 28-year-old woman inside Inwood Hill Park in Upper Manhattan at about 8:30 p.m. Friday.

The victim told investigators she was walking near the ball fields on Dyckman Street at the Henry Hudson Parkway when a man approached and started a conversation.

He dragged her into a secluded area of the park, where he sexually assaulted her, then fled on a red mountain bike.

The second attack occurred in neighboring Washington Heights at about 2 a.m. Saturday.

In that incident, a 37-year-old woman was accosted at knifepoint in her apartment building, police said.

The woman was grabbed on the fifth floor by the man and forced to the eighth floor, where she was sexually assaulted in the hallway.

In the third case, a 32-year-old woman was approached by a man at 184th Street and Broadway in Washington Heights at 1:20 a.m. yesterday. He tried to grab her, but she ran.

A 37-year-old woman walking on 181st Street in Washington Heights last night said, “This is terrible. I’ve lived here for years, and there’s never been a problem until lately.”
