‘Company’ folks

My review of the New York Philharmonic’s “Company” will be in tomorrow’s paper, but in the meantime have a gander at this slideshow. As you can tell from the first few pictures, there were a lot of rich people there — and I don’t mean the stars on stage. It was the Phil’s Spring gala, where donors and board members hobnobbed with creative types. Larry Silverstein in da house! Holler! Cute touch: A banquet had been set up in the mezzanine of Avery Fisher Hall by the time the show ended, and each table had a tiered wedding cake topped by a solo groom (the main character in “Company,” played by Neil Patrick Harris, is a perennial bachelor).

Photo No. 9 confirms my suspicion that Christina Hendricks was born to rock a retro stewardess outfit (but what’s up with those nylons — or are they Spanx??) And make sure to take a long look at photo No. 17, a rare occurrence of two tigresses embracing in the wild. Awwww!
