Fallen Disney starlet Demi Lovato will be able to practice her right hook from home this Christmas, because she is getting out of rehab to spend the holidays with her family.
The 18-year-old will taste freedom on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Sunday before a decision is made as to whether she needs to go back for more treatment, Radar Online reported Friday.
Lovato was committed for reportedly punching dancer Alex Welch in the face on board a private jet in October. Welch, who suffered visible bruising, subsequently received an undisclosed monetary settlement.
Her representative described the rehab stay as needed for “emotional and physical issues,” declining to confirm reports that Lovato may have tried to hurt herself.
Lovato dated her “Camp Rock” co-star and Jonas Brother musician Joe Jonas, but the pair split earlier this year before her alleged violent streak became known.
