Attorney General Eric Holder is still defending his department’s decision not to prosecute a voter intimidation case from 2008 when members of the New Black Panther Party were caught on tape standing in front of a polling station in Philadelphia holding a Billy club and using threatening language toward some voters. But at least this year, as a local news outlet reports, the New Black Panthers left their weapons at home. One, ahem, gentleman dressed in the party’s black uniform and wearing a pin identifying himself as a New Black Panther member stood outside the same polling place earlier today welcoming voters.
No Billy club at the polling place this year
