Stabbed to death
An 18-year-old was killed on Aug. 16 following a fatal stabbing on Flatlands Avenue.
Witnesses told police that the victim, identified as E. 105th Street resident Hasson Bordon, was arguing with another man between E. 104th and E. 105th streets just after 2 pm when the suspect plunged a knife into his chest.
Bordon was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Left in critical
A 19-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition on Aug. 15 after being shot in the head on E. 84th Street.
The victim, who had not been named, was shot during a fierce exchange between Avenues L and M just before 2 am. He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where doctors listed him in critical condition.
Cops were still looking for the shooter as this paper went to press.

Dress devil
A 42-year-old thief was arrested on Aug. 13 after he tried to swipe five leather coats from a Ralph Avenue Dress Barn.
Workers at the clothing store, which is between Avenues K and L, said the suspect came in at 11:09 am and secreted the coats into a bag with an aluminum lining that would scatter the security sensors.
Guards caught him as he tried to leave the store and held him for police, who charged him with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
Goose egg
A woman found herself behind bars on Aug. 14 after she threatened to brain another female with a bottle of Grey Goose vodka.
The two women were arguing inside an E. 81st Street address between Avenues J and K just after 8 am when the 24-year-old suspect picked up the bottle and threatened to “kill” her opponent with it.
Her surprised victim called police, who took her into custody for menacing.
Mouthing off
A man was arrested on Aug. 14 after he mouthed off to a cop pulling money from an ATM on Rockaway Parkway.
The officer said that he minding his own business at the ATM between Farragut and Glenwood roads — just a short distance from the precinct — when the 28-year-old suspect approached, getting too close for comfort. It was unclear if the cop was in uniform at the time of the altercation.
“You think you’re all that because you are a fu–king cop,” the suspect said as he reached for the officer’s waistband and put up his dukes, challenging him to a fight.
The cop told the man to back away, but he wouldn’t. When the suspect finally made contact with the cop’s chest, he was immediately put in handcuffs, charged with menacing.
Three shot
A gunman opened fire on a group of people on E. 39th Street on Aug. 15, wounding three women.
The victims said they were all outside the address, which is between Avenues I and J, at 4 am following a celebration when the unidentified suspect opened fire. The three victims sustained non-life threatening injuries to their arms, legs and buttocks, officials said.
Attacked on Flatlands
Two thugs jumped a 71-year-old man and robbed him on Flatlands Avenue during a brutal Aug. 12 altercation.
The victim told police he was walking down Flatlands Avenue between E. 46th and E. 47th streets at 1:30 pm when the suspects pushed him to the ground, leaving him with a small injury. They then fled with a small amount of property, police said.
Crawling inside
A burglar entered a Ralph Avenue home on Aug. 8 after crawling through an air conditioning vent, police said.
The 24-year-old tenant, who lives between Farragut and Glenwood roads, said the thief entered her home sometime after midnight, taking her cell phone and some electronics.
Parkway shooting
A man was shot near the corner of Rockaway Parkway and Seaview Avenue on Aug. 1, although his injuries are not considered life threatening.
The victim told police he was nearing the corner at about 10 pm when an unidentified gunman opened fire and he was hit in the arm.
He ran to a nearby McDonald’s for assistance and was rushed to Brookdale Hospital for treatment.

As the ongoing war against graffiti vandalism continues, cops are offering a $500 reward to anyone with information that can help them arrest neighborhood vandals.
The hefty reward is part of the city’s ongoing push to rid New York of graffiti, the leading quality of life complaint brought to police.
