Vile scam hit troops

Staten Island con men ripped off more than $5 million from 200 victims, including members of the military whose accounts were emptied as they fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, cops said yesterday.

The suspected ID thieves targeted military personnel because they believed they would be slower to report missing cash, cops said.

One of the 26 alleged crooks, Kevin Marshall, of The Bronx, is a former soldier who used his connections to steal military ID numbers, prosecutors said.
