Stars of ‘Big Bang Theory’ eye pay raise

The stars of CBS’ “Big Bang Theory” want a major pay increase.

Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons, who headline the top-rated sitcom, are seeking to hike their per-episode paychecks from $65,000 to $250,000 — a 285 percent increase, according to forbes.com.

That would put them on par with the stars of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” according to the report.

“Bang” had a terrific third season, finishing as TV’s top sitcom in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demo and eighth out of all shows.

It’s also TV’s second-best sitcom, in terms of viewership, behind CBS stablemate “Two and a Half Men,” and its repeats also perform strongly.
