Kimmel: I sucker-punched Leno (video)

Looks like Round 2 goes to Jimmy Kimmel.

The late-night host took to David Letterman’s couch last night to address his much-talked about “Ten at Ten” appearance last month — where he used the “Jay Leno Show” live segment to rip into Leno for “stealing” Conan O’Brien’s job — and Leno’s recent “tattling” of the incident to Oprah Winfrey.

“He asked me 10 questions about nothing and I asked him 10 questions about stealing Conan’s job from him,” Kimmel said to a giggling Letterman about the “Ten at Ten” gig.

Leno, who has responded to Kimmel after jabs in the past, skipped the phone call and headed straight for Winfrey’s couch, said Kimmel.

“He went on ‘The Oprah Show’ and said I sucker-punched him,” said Kimmel. “He’s always running to tattle to Oprah whenever something happens

“I didn’t feel like I did sucker-punch him, but then I looked it up in the dictionary and it turns out I did.”
