CNN corrected a report of a “mass casualty” event in Haiti Monday, saying that three Americans had been injured.
CNN had originally reported a “mass casualty” event involving thirty Americans.
CNN changed its earlier report to say that three Americans were injured in an incident outside the Port-au-Prince airport. It remains unclear exactly how the 3 Americans were injured, but CNN described the injuries as ‘not life-threatening.’
The Pentagon said it had no information yet on any reports of injured Americans Monday.
