‘Tatsunoko vs. Capcom’…fight!

Here’s a look at the kind of stuff you’ll be seeing when “Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars” launches on Jan. 26 for the Wii.

The fighter game, which is inspired by “Marvel VS. Capcom,” features a new control scheme and roster of characters from Tatsunoko – aka the Hanna-Barbera of Japan (you know, Yogi Bear/Flintstones etc) – fighting against some of Capcom’s most famed characters.

In the game, you’ll get folks like Ryu and Chun-Li (Street Fighter), Morrigan (Darkstalkers) and Mega Man Volnutt (Mega Man Legends) duking it out with characters like Ken the Eagle and Jun the Swan (Science Ninja Team Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets/G-Force), Casshan and Yatterman No. 1.

Gameplay basically involves two-man tag teams, four button fighting controls (which gets more in-depth if you’re an advanced brawler type player) and 3D characters in a 2D setting.
