Manhattan — Police are hunting for the man pictured below in the rape of a co-worker in their Midtown office.

Santiago Coba Sanchez allegedly assaulted the 27-year-old woman last Friday at 9:30 p.m. in the office on East 40th Street near Madison Avenue.

The suspect, who is also known as José Luis Hernandez, is in his 30s, stands approximately 5-8, weighs 180 pounds, and has brown eyes.

A home health aide took advantage of an elderly Upper East Side woman, swiping $16,000 from her bank account, cops said.

Fatoumata Diawara, 21, allegedly grabbed a check belonging to the 87-year-old woman in her apartment on East 95th Street near Third Avenue on Nov. 19.

That same day, Diawara allegedly forged her employee’s signature on the check and cashed it for $10,000.

In addition, between Aug. 11 and Nov. 20, Diawara used an ATM card to take about $6,000 from the victim’s account.

The person in charge of the victim’s accounts uncovered the fraud and called police. Diawara was arrested Monday on charges of grand larceny and forgery.

Most people go to a restaurant to eat, but this guy went to steal, authorities said.

Rasheed Mingues, 30, slipped into the eatery Felix on West Broadway at Grand Street at around 3:50 a.m. on July 23.

He allegedly stole $5,000 in cash, plus a checkbook.

The next day, he allegedly cashed one of the stolen checks for $1,386 at a Chase Bank in Carle Place, LI.

Then, on Aug. 3, he allegedly cashed two forged checks from the restaurant Tintol on West 46th Street, pocketing nearly $3,000. It was unclear how he got the checks.

Police easily arrested Mingues on Monday — because he made one check out to himself.

He was charged with grand larceny and identity theft.

A SoHo man slashed and beat his girlfriend in their apartment, police said yesterday.

Louis Coiro, 20, allegedly slashed the woman’s arm with a folding knife in their apartment on Grand Street near Thompson Street at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

He then allegedly struck her in the face and body.

Cops were called and Coiro was arrested for assault.

The victim suffered minor lacerations and bruising.

Brooklyn

An argument between two neighbors landed both in hot water with the law.

Andrew Rodriguez, 17, said he argued with Thomas Gilliam, 49, outside their building on St. Marks Avenue in Crown Heights at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

After the dispute, Rodriguez claimed that they each went inside their apartments, but that Gilliam soon banged on his door with a stick and yelled for him to come out.

For his part, Gilliam told cops that he clashed with Rodriguez as Gilliam was entering the building. Rodriguez brandished a hacksaw and followed Gilliam while threatening him, the older man said.

Police were called and arrested the pair on menacing charges.

Queens

Two gun-toting bandits made off with cash after sticking up a grocery store in Hollis.

The masked thugs, one brandishing a shotgun and the other wielding a silver pistol, stormed into the deli on Jamaica Avenue near 185th Street at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

They announced a robbery, swiped an unspecified amount of money and sped off in a green car. No one was hurt.

Staten Island

Maybe he wanted to get caught. Dominick Votto, 31, was busted yesterday with a stash of drugs after police spotted him sleeping in his car in the middle of a Bulls Head street with his interior light on, sources said.

Votto woke up after cops knocked on his car window on Morani Street near Richmond Avenue at 1:02 a.m., sources said.

Votto allegedly tried to drive away, but didn’t get far before cops stopped him.

Police recovered a large bag of marijuana and 96 Xanax pills from Votto, who was charged with drug possession and reckless endangerment, a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan said.

A car passenger attacked a woman with a collapsible baton after an accident in Concord, authorities said yesterday.

Jaroslaw Szymaner, 45, was riding in a car driven by his wife on Hylan Boulevard near Clove Road at around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, when they collided with the woman’s vehicle, cops said.

After Szymaner got out of his car, the woman emerged from hers and called 911 from her cellphone, sources said.

Enraged, Szymaner allegedly whacked her in the hand with the baton, causing minor injuries. He was soon under arrest on assault charges.
