A woman who recently separated from her husband and had her hours cut at work says an image of Jesus Christ she sees on her iron has reassured her that “life is going to be good.”

Mary Jo Coady, of Methuen, Mass., says she plans to keep the stained iron in a closet and buy a new one.

A Colorado crook tried to tow away an ATM, but finished out of the money.

Boulder cops found the ATM on its side about 15 feet from its foundation, with no cash missing.

A Kansas defense attorney who wanted to illustrate for jurors the meaning of “imminent threat” pulled out a hand grenade in a Hutchinson court, pulled the pin, and put it down on the prosecutor’s table.

The lawyer said the grenade was a dud. His client was a woman accused of forgery and theft. She claimed a co-defendant had threatened to kill her dog and harm her daughter if she didn’t take part in the scheme.

The lawyer may face charges.

A widower in Vietnam dug up his wife’s corpse, dressed her, put her in his bed, and reportedly slept with her for five years.

The 55-year-old man reportedly took the drastic steps because he wanted to hug his wife in bed.

“I’m a person that does things differently,” he said. “I’m not like normal people.”
