Oliver’s twist

Your kids may know him as Oliver from Disney’s hit show “Hannah Montana,” but on Thursday 18-year-old Mitchel Musso will just be himself — on a parade float!

The Disney A-lister recently released a self-titled album and tells us: “Being on tour, I hear the same songs all the time, so I’m really excited to hear what’s played during the parade. My favorite part is that I get to perform with different artists.”

The Houston native and Los Angeles transplant said, “The last couple of years we’ve had Thanksgiving dinner at a hotel in LA because we haven’t had the time to cook.”

But his meals haven’t lacked his favorite dish. Musso raves about his grandmother’s dressing.

FLOATING HOLIDAY

HOLDING ON

PARADE BY THE NUMBERS

“That’s what it’s called, right? She makes the best dressing in the world. The last two Thanksgivings, she sent some out for us.”

With his newfound stardom, Musso has lots to be thankful for in recent years, and he knows it.

“I grew up in a Christian family and we always went to church the night before Thanksgiving. For me, this holiday is about thinking of all the wonderful things that have happened the last few years and spending time with your family.”

This year, Musso’s holiday gets an extra boost.

He says he’s always watched the parade and can’t think of anyone who didn’t watch it growing up. “I know this sounds crazy, but I love the Muppets in the parade — and the enormous Sponge-Bob balloon.”

Musso tells us, “Just the thought of actually going to see it — when I got the call about it, it was one of those moments that just made my heart kind of stop!”

He’s already in the city with his entourage, including his (sorry, teenage girls) girlfriend andher whole family.

“What isn’t there to do in New York, you know? Everything I do here is always spur of the moment.”
