Make a day of it

The fun isn’t over when the parade ends. There’s plenty to do on Thanksgiving Day in the city that never sleeps. Here are some of our favorite post-Parade activities:

Get a jump-start on the next holiday! The Radio City Christmas Spectacular plays at 2, 5 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $55 to $250 at radiocity.com.

* What better way to digest your feast than during a Broadway show? Catch evening shows of “Chicago” (Ambassador Theater, 219 W. 49th St.), “Hamlet” (Broadhurst Theater, 235 W. 44th St.), “Oleanna” ( John Golden Theater, 252 W. 44th St.), “Phantom of the Opera” (Majestic Theater, 247 W. 44th St.) “West Side Story” (Palace Theater, 1564 Broadway) and “White Christmas” (Marquis Theater, 1535 Broadway). * Get your skates on at The Rink at Rockefeller Center, which is open from 9 a.m. to midnight. Call 212-332-7654 for details.

* Enjoy your turkey dinner on a Thanksgiving dinner cruise on the Manhattan Yacht. The boat departs at 2 p.m. and includes a Thanksgiving buffet with wine, open bar and hot apple cider. * Shop ’til you drop in over 100 boutiques at the Byrant Park Holiday Shops, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. See bryantpark.org for details.

* Avoid the circus on the city streets and opt for the real deal — Big Apple Circus has a 2 p.m. performance at 62nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam. Tickets start at $28; visit bigapplecircus.org to purchase.

* The Central Park Zoo and Carousel are open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Zoo admission is $5 for children, $10 for adults, $7 for seniors. For just $2 you can take a spin on the carousel located mid-park at 64th Street.

* Head out to Coney Island to spend the afternoon with penguins, sea otters, walruses and more. The New York Aquarium is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Children’s admission $9, adults $13, seniors $10. Go to nyaquarium.com for more info.

* Can’t get enough of the bright lights? From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visit Discovery’s Times Square Exhibition. An exhibit on artifacts from the Titanic as well as a da Vinci workshop will be open to explore. Tickets for the Titanic exhibit are free for children under 4, $17.50 for children 4 to 12, $24.50 for adults and $22.50 for seniors.
