A paparazzo collapsed and died last night after taking pictures of songstress Lady Gaga in Midtown, witnesses said.
The 52 year-old lensman, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was packing his bags after taking pictures of the “Paparazzi” singer in front of Cipriani’s restaurant on East 42nd Street at 9 p.m. when he suddenly fell.
He died at Bellevue Hospital.
“He was a heavy smoker. He loved women. He was lots of fun,” said pal and fellow fotog Arnaldo Magnani.
The cause of death was not immediately known, but another pal said he’d had heart problems.
