WASHINGTON — A senior Republican senator said yesterday that President Obama’s critics are increasingly suspicious that he is playing politics with troop levels in Afghanistan.
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that there is a rising concern that Obama is “waiting until after this election because they have some tough governorships up for election.”
