Jon to TLC: Back Off!

Jon Gosselin has posted a sign on the front gate of his shattered family’s home in rural Pennsylvania — telling TLC, which airs his reality show, to bug off.

The sign, on which Gosselin misspells his own first name and the word “penalty,” warns “film crew” and “production staff” from “Jon & Kate Plus 8” to keep off the property or face “penelty (sic) of trespass.”

It’s signed “Johnathon Gosselin.”

TLC fired back today, reminding Jon he’s still under contract to the network, even though he’s in the midst of divorcing wife Kate.

“We are aware of Jon Gosselin’s recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior,” it said in a snippy statement.

“He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and clearly opportunistic.”

The network said “direct filming” of the estranged couple’s eight kids has been suspended, for now, “pending further conversations between both parents.”

It’s just the latest development in the seemingly endless saga of Jon and Kate Gosselin, whose much-publicized marital split has killed their show’s ratings and forced TLC to now call it just “Kate Plus 8.”
