Plane in Boston inspected after bomb note found

BOSTON — Authorities say they found no bomb on a plane that was inspected at Boston’s Logan Airport after a threatening note was found.

The American Airlines plane and luggage were searched Wednesday by police and a dog after a note reading “Bomb on board, Boston-Miami” was found on a bathroom wall.

Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella says the plane was given the all-clear around 4 p.m.

He says passengers on Flight 1318 were transferred to another plane heading for Miami. The threatened flight had come from Dallas, and the note was found during the preboarding process in Boston.
