An airport security guard on trial for killing her father and cutting off his penis testified yesterday that she carefully researched the procedure by studying Lorena Bobbitt’s attack on her husband.
Brigitte Harris, 28, told the jury in a Queens courtroom that her intent was to maim her father so that he couldn’t sexually abuse any other girls, as she claims he had done to her since the age of 3 and to her younger sister.
Harris described her efforts to use the Internet to research the best way to cut off a penis.
“I tried to find the proper tools and look up similar cases, like John Bobbitt,” Harris said.
Eric Goodridge, 55, was found by cops strangled inside Harris’ Far Rockaway apartment on July 27, 2007. He was bound to a chair, and his penis had been hacked off.
