GAS-BLAST WIDOWER TO SUE

The family of a Queens mother of three killed in a horrific Con Ed gas explosion has taken another step toward suing the utility.

Dindial Boodram — whose wife, Ghanwatti, 40, died when their Floral Park home exploded in April — has filed an order to show cause against Con Ed, requesting the company “preserve and produce for discovery certain gas and electric equipment recovered and/or evaluated.”

Boodram said in a sworn petition that he intended to “start a lawsuit against the responsible party or parties.”

The fatal explosion happened about a half-hour after Con Ed discovered a large buildup of gas in a nearby manhole.

A Con Ed spokesman said he would not comment on pending litigation.
