ABC programming boss Stephen McPherson would “love to get a piece” of Paula Abdul.
Asked point blank if he hopes the pint-sized primetime star to his networks stable of talent, he said, “Absolutely! I was a little stunned by the decision (to leave ‘American Idol’ earlier this week) and we would love to have her on ‘Dancing,’ whether it is as a contestant or some sort of judge. I think she is a huge talent. I think there is a lot made about her in terms of who she is. There is a sensitivity and emotion to her that balances out Idol and we’d love to get a piece of that.”
