David Carradine (1936-2009)

Earlier in his career, he starred in Ingmar Bergman’s “The Sepent’s Egg” and Martin Scorsese’s “Boxcar Bertha,” the latter opposite Barbara Hershey, with whom he had a son named Free; Barbara was known for a time as Barbara Seagull. He also appeared with his half-brothers Keith and Robert Carradine in Walter Hills‘s “The Long Riders.” David Carradine, who has at least six unreleased movies in the can, was most recently seen in the comedy “The Golden Boys” with Rip Torn and Bruce Dern.
