WHAT’S UP?

Today

FAMILY FEUD: We’ve all been tempted to trade in our kin. No wonder “Everything About a Family (Almost)” rings a bell — it’s about a kid who tries to do just that, only to realize that everything is relative. The new TADA! musical is not only written by kids, it stars them. 2 and 4 p.m. today and weekends through May 17, $20 for adults, $8 for kids. TADA! Theater, 15 W. 28th St., between Broadway and Fifth Avenue; 212-252-1619.

ALL’S FAIR: The Tribeca Film Festival’s annual street fair has it all — performances from Broadway’s “Shrek” and “In the Heights,” concerts by the Dirty Sock Funtime Band, kite-making, bubble-blowing and more. Everything’s free (except the food). 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Greenwich Street between Hubert and Chambers streets; tribecafilm.com.

BANG, ZOOM: To the moon! Or Ralph’s World, to be exact. Ralph Covert makes melodies that have been compared to Paul McCartney’s, and his kid-centric lyrics are laced with enough grown-up humor to keep adults happy (witness his “Folsom Daycare Blues”). 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., $27 for adults, $17 for kids. Symphony Space, Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street; 212-864-5400.

Tomorrow

ROYAL RACERS: Songsters Princess Katie and Racer Steve don tiara and race-car driver duds to perform tunes from their CDs “Songs for the Coolest Kids” and “Fast and Feisty.” 11 a.m., $15. 92YTribeca, 200 Hudson St., at Canal Street; 212-601-1000.

Y NOT?: The 14th Street Y opens its doors for a day of community arts for all ages — in drumming, gardening, movement and more. And it’s all free, except for the bake sale. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 344 E. 14th St., between First and Second avenues; 212-780-0800.
