Formerly Family-Friendly Sandler Now Porn Again

Four months after toplining the under-performing “Bedtime Stories” for Disney, Adam Sandler is getting ready to make a more adult kind of bedtime story for his longtime enablers at Sony. According to the Hollywood Reporter, production is about to begin on the “porn-tinged” comedy “Born to Be A Star,” which Sandler co-wrote with director Tom Brady, who collaborated on the Sandler-produced “The Animal” and “The Hot Chick.” According to the trade, the film “centers on a small-town nerd who stumbles upon a family secret: His quiet and demure parents were famous porn stars in the 1970s. This motivates him to leave Northern Iowa for Hollywood, hoping to follow in their footsteps and fulfill his destiny as the biggest adult-film star in the world.” Christina Ricci will play the character’s girlfriend, but no other casting has been announced.
