WIGGY ‘STALKER’ EX-COP

The creepy court officer charged with dressing up in costume to stalk a Queens singer is a former Bronx cop who left the NYPD in 2001 to become a sanitation worker before joining the court system, sources said yesterday.

Christopher Ofee, 43, worked in the 44th Precinct until leaving the department in 2001, and was remembered as unremarkable.

“He was a little weird, but not a bad guy,” said one officer who worked with Ofee.

It was not clear why Ofee left the force.

Fellow officers who work with Ofee at Queens Criminal Court said they were surprised to hear of the Woodside man’s arrest. But one officer noted that this kind of behavior “doesn’t come from nowhere.”

Ofee, who has been a court officer since 2005, was busted Sunday after driving past singer Julia Fragias as she waited for a bus in East Elmhurst.

Cops found him with his pants undone and a wig and a roll of duct tape on the passenger seat next to him.

He had allegedly approached Fragias several times over the past year, wearing various costumes.
